Ali had a vision for a Sales Management company that was the go-to for any “Emerging Brand” struggling with the daunting task of growing on a National Level. In 2012…BUILD Sales Management was born. Previous to BUILD, Ali was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cameron’s Coffee, taking that company from $7million in revenue to $45million and a private equity buyout. Ali also has experience with a fortune 15 company, in sales operations for General Mills working with some of the largest national accounts – Kroger and Target. At BUILD, Ali is responsible for the Natural Channel Leaders in Retail such as Whole Foods and Sprouts, as well as the biggest Conventional and Specialty retailers in the country such as Kroger, Target, and Heinen’s to name a few. Ali works closely with the entire client portfolio to set a National Sales Strategy and execute on that strategy together. In Ali’s spare time he loves to be with his family and his daughters. Ali also loves music and concerts, following the MN Twins to ballparks around the country, and trying new restaurants whenever they pop up.
Hassan graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2010 with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He began his career after college working for Target as an Executive Team Leader. After working for Target and gaining valuable experience in store operations and retail execution, he became a Regional Sales Manager for a snacks manufacturing company. Hassan later joined Cameron’s Coffee and worked as their Sales Director for the western half of the U.S. and all of Canada. After a few years of working at Cameron’s Hassan joined the BUILD team as its Sr. VP of Business Development. Today he manages the BUILD RSM team and oversees sales growth for all BUILD clients in the western United States. Hassan enjoys working out, catching a Twins game in the summer, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a major foodie and loves to try out new restaurants with his girlfriend whenever they get the chance.
Stevi Green began her career in the natural foods industry by helping to launch a regional brokerage in the Pac Northwest. During that time, she gained a wealth of experience by working simultaneously behind the scenes and out in the field. She has a very in-depth understanding of the many facets of distribution and has established relationships with many key players at National and Regional distributors. These experiences have made her an asset to brands in any stage of development. With a knack for networking, Stevi has developed fantastic relationships across the industry. She is incredibly passionate about natural food and is always looking for an opportunity to advance her knowledge in the benefits of eating well. Although not a native to the Pacific Northwest, Stevi’s love for a good IPA, farmer’s markets and shopping local allow her to fit right in. She enjoys cooking and baking (with or without her kids), family bike rides, date nights with her husband and volunteering in her community.
Brit comes from a background in specialty food sales as a business development manager for a large regional broker, where she specialized in developing, managing, and executing promotional calendars, assisted in producing distributor tradeshows, and successfully managed client/distributor relationships. At BUILD, she is responsible for tracking and managing sales for all clients. Her goal is to build tools and processes that make selling easier, and to increase sales by increasing productivity. When she’s not working, she follows her favorite professional soccer, football, and baseball teams, does yoga whenever she can, and spends time with her husband Arthur.
Martha’s first experience in the food industry was in a similar role as she will have at BUILD with a CPG Brand – Jonny Pops. At Jonny Pops she was responsible for Distributor and Retailer New Item Paperwork, Promotional Submissions, Retailer Tracking, and assisted the sales team with a significant amount of Ad Hoc projects. At BUILD, Martha will work with our Client Development Team, streamlining processes and reporting for our clients and our sales team, ensuring we have the best information possible to help make strategic decisions quickly and effectively. Martha is originally from Minnesota, and is incredibly passionate about our Brands and our industry. Her excitement to bring good ideas into reality and accomplish goals is surpassed only by her desire to learn and grow. Martha enjoys connecting with friends and family, yoga, hiking new trails, supporting local businesses, and spending the day on the water fly-fishing with her boyfriend.
Allan has worked in the Grocery Industry for 13 years and brings a vast amount of experience to the BUILD Sales Management Team. As a Regional Training Manager and Account Executive for Red Bull, Allan was responsible for 14 Salespeople and over 45 Routes in the Midwest. Taking Red Bull from start-up to $4+ million in sales in the Midwest before he moved on to Old Dutch Foods, a large snacks manufacturer where Allan spent several years in Sales and Account Management. At BUILD, Allan is responsible for the HQ Account Calls in the Midwest Territory, and also oversees Kehe HQ for all of our clients. Allan enjoys motorcycles, professional Soccer, spending time with his family, and trying new restaurants and beers.
Jeff has extensive CPG experience in both the Natural and Conventional grocery channels spanning over 25 years! Jeff came to Build with comprehensive brand building experience with start up brands So Delicious Dairy Free, Canyon Bakehouse and Yocrunch yogurt. Jeff has expansive experience with “Blue Chip” CPG companies, The Gillette Company as well as Proctor & Gamble. Jeff’s has a comprehensive understanding of the Northeast retail and distributor markets. He has led both direct and broker sales teams at strategic retailers from Ahold to Wakefern, Wegmans etc. with tremendous success. Jeff resides in Londonderry, NH with his wife and two sons. His weekends are spent rooting on his boys at their respective sporting events.
Eric comes to BUILD Sales Management with over 20 years of DSD Grocery Industry experience. Prior positions with Frito Lay, Anheuser Bush and Cameron’s Coffee have opened up relationships with retailers, distributors, and store level management that will prove invaluable to BUILD Clients. Eric believes building exceptional rapport with customers and putting their needs first helps to build a long term mutually beneficial relationships. Eric embodies the vision that BUILD operates on, which is showing passion for our Client’s products and being a loud, vocal advocate for our Brands and the Natural/Specialty food business. In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. He has been a supporter of the MN Gopher Wrestling Team for many years and loves to travel around the country to watch them compete. His family is also Gophers fans and can be seen tagging along to wrestling meets.
Conor came to BUILD with 4 years experience in sales and account management outside of the grocery industry. That experience and determination to never take “No” for an answer has allowed Conor to excel in his position at BUILD. Conor is responsible for in-store sales to independent and chain level accounts that require a “door-to-door” approach in the Midwest and Northeast territories. Conor also is the national “Chain Launch Execution Manager”, working with BUILD RSM’s and the Broker to ensure all large roll-outs are executed by Chains by being the feet on the street during that process for all of our clients. Lastly, Conor has some responsibility for distributor and broker paperwork, managing the new item process as well as promotional submissions. Conor loves spending time with his dog Major, golfing, and attending sporting events with his friends and family.
